Explore Michigan is a conceptual magazine brand developed as my senior project, focused on showcasing the state’s natural landscapes from a local perspective. The concept is designed as an ongoing publication series, highlighting Michigan’s diverse scenic regions for both residents and visitors.
Inspired by my upbringing in Michigan, this project reflects a strong connection to the outdoors and the state’s natural beauty. This edition features Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, exploring its expansive dunes, inland lakes, and Lake Michigan shoreline through curated editorial design and visual storytelling.
Through Explore Michigan, I aimed to highlight the value of local exploration while encouraging audiences to engage more actively with the natural environments in their own communities.
