Explore Michigan is a magazine company concept focused on showcasing the beautiful outdoors around Michigan from a local's perspective. Developed as my senior project, the company would continue to produce different magazines in similar fashion, covering all of the scenic areas the state has to offer for the locals and tourists.
I consider myself so lucky to have been born and raised in the great state of Pure Michigan. While growing up, I was submersed in the outdoors and beautiful nature. The fresh lakes and the rolling grass and sand hills inspire outdoor activities all year long as locals and tourists travel throughout Michigan. This magazine edition is focused on the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. These large, rolling hills expand a grand distance encompassing the coast of Lake Michigan. Stretching from Big Glen Lake to Lake Michigan, the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore is pure open space of God’s finest work.
Through this magazine edition of Explore Michigan, I hope to showcase the many beauties of the great outdoors as well as encourage individuals to be active in their own community.
